The path towards the gains of of AfCFTA demands the place for inclusive growth for other agents of trade and development such as small business enterprises, micro entrepreneurs as well as trade associations. Knowing the opportunities provided by big players in the system would be a huge motivator to drive cooperation and partnership that promote inclusive growth and accelerate the achievement of the post-pandemic recovery.
The theme “The Place of Small and Micro Enterprise for Inclusive Growth with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA)” is set to address all this concerns at the 4th Edition of the conference of Nigeria Trade Associations (CONiTA).
It is no longer a breaking news that the COVID-19 pandemic unprecedently changed the way we work and spend; and communicate at home and work place. Ther are disruptions in supply chain, high demand for medical attention, scarcity of raw materials, desire for good health with stern pulse to keep up with productivity level across sectors and industry. These call for human capital redress, capacity building, resource allocation and policies designed to enhance productivity and inclusiveness. This concerns brought about the theme “Prodigy of Health, Finance and Productivity for Nigeria Trade Associations”. The sub-theme include: Productivity& Economic Sustainability in Pandemic Times: The role of Nigeria Health System; Health and Economic Sustainability in Pandemic Times: The role of the Banking Sector; Productivity and Business Dynamics through the lens of COVID-19: Nigeria Case.
The concept of vocational centers and consequent establishment across Nigeria underscore its’ importance. Creativity has come a long way to have many phases; it is an attribute of individual persons or people, a feature of social interactions per time or season. Economic analysis shows that creative industries have the potential to regenerate economies, create decent jobs and wealth, the questions of how and when therefore have risen; These among other challenges invoked the theme of the 3rd quarter conference being: Vocation and Creativity Enhancement for Sustainable Development. The sub-theme include: Entrepreneurship and Sustainable development: *The Place for Creative industry in Nigeria; *Roles of development organizations and Growth of Creative Economy; Vocation & Creative Industries: Networking and Marketing Opportunities in modern times.
